Why We Charge a Fee
The $35 application fee helps cover the real costs of reviewing submissions and sustaining our artist-led programs. We know how much heart and labor goes into your work—and we put the same care into building this community. This fee supports the continuity of what we’ve built together and helps ensure that artists and administrators alike are valued and supported. It’s not about creating a barrier. It’s about affirming a mutual commitment from the start, one rooted in care, equity, and shared investment in each other’s growth.
